PROFILE

Ashley started out working in the holiday and leisure industry, managing teams around various resorts in southern Europe. on one occasion a colleague asked her to trim their hair and with only kitchen scissors available she did and loved it.
After a few more people asking she purchased a pair a hairdressing scissors and just self taught.

After a couple of years Ashley decided to come back to England to train as a hairdresser through the correct channels.
Completing her city & guilds qualification with distinctions & credits.
Ashley then went to the Delemar academy and completed a make-up artist course for film, TV and stills. She constantly says "it was the best thing she ever did!".

Ashley has now worked in the world of film, TV and fashion for the past 11 years, the work is completely varied from Vivianne Westwood catwalk, beauty commercials such as Olay and Revlon, 5 month dramas, to underwater beauty shoots.
"How could i ever get bored?" she says with a big smile "this is a job I love doing".

Outside of work Ashleys leisure time is spent playing at outdoor pursuits: 4x4 off road driving and cycling.
